Dr Yury D. Bogdanov
main interests are in the field of cell signalling. More specifically he is focused on understanding of the role of GABAergic signalling in the central nervous system and outside. Dr Bogdanov has shown that GABA receptors are represented by constantly changing dynamic pool. Understanding it’s dynamics is the key element to decipher various signalling processes. Currently Dr Bogdanov works at the University of Southampton to harness GABAergic signalling for cancer therapy.
